We have partnered with renowned singer/songwriter Danielle Howle, called “An extraordinary mind, a southern storyteller with a gorgeous sense of melody” by the New York Times, and The Andy Quattlebaum & Blackwell Family Foundation to create a reflective writing trail at the farm that will be used for both educational and therapeutic activities. The trail will offer unique writing stations like the "Keep Tree" to the left in which participants can immerse themselves in nature while writing and reflecting. In early 2025, Danielle will begin her unique songwriting workshops designed to engage, educate, empower and are safe places to take creative risks in a nurturing environment. Additionally, this intentional writing trail will be utilized moving forward to include multiple healing modalities beginning in December 2024 with licensed therapist and founder of Sound Pathway, Lara D'Eugenio.
Beginning October 2025

Danielle Howle
A lifelong artist and natural storyteller, Danielle Howle has lived a million lives in one, releasing well over a dozen studio albums in a four-decade career that has traversed genres, styles, and cultures, encompassing everything from country-swamp-blues and jazz to folk, southern rock, indie, and Americana – all while endlessly exploring the depths of the human condition. She’s opened for legends like Bob Dylan and Bonnie Raitt, and was a close friend of the late singer/songwriter Elliott Smith, but Danielle doesn’t focus on, nor does she live in the past: Her head and her heart are in the present. We are thrilled that has chosen our farm for her second writing trail and the brilliant thought provoking writing prompts that accompany each of the eight stations.
